Esimit Sailing Team crossed the finish line of the scenic 350 mile ÅF Offshore Race in Sweden after more than 40 hours of sailing as the first yacht at 3:33 am on 2th July. The largest Scandinavian regatta, this year attended by 248 boats, proved to be one of the most scenic, yet dangerous races due to shallow waters of Stockholm archipelago. With the first half of the challenges in northern Europe now successfully completed, Esimit Europa 2 marks 22 line honours.

In occasion of the ÅF Offshore Race, prior to its start, the Esimit Sailing Team met with the mayor of Stockholm, Sten Nordin, who wished the team all the best for the regatta and the rest of the season to follow. Challenges for the Esimit Sailing Team will continue with Cowes Week and Rolex Fastnet Race in the United Kingdom in early August.
