Esimit Europa 2 is winning again the Bernetti Cup in 2012 Approximatly 200 yachts competed at this year’s edition of the Bernetti Lombardini Cup. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, Esimit Europa 2 crossed the finish line as the fastest yacht on the course after only 1 hour and 15 minutes.

By that, the 30-meter maxi yacht also defended the victory in the Open class, awarded with the popular Bernetti Cup. The award ceremony will takeplace a week later on Saturday, 13^th October at 6:00 PM in Miela Theatre in Trieste, Italy. With the victory in the Open class, the Esimit Sailing Team defended its success from the last season’s race and maintains its excellent shape for the upcoming races. Also for Ivan Kljaković Gašpić, Esimit Europa 2’s new crew member, the Bernetti Lombardini Cup was the big test before one of the largest regattas in the world, the Barcolana, coming up next week.
