Palermo’s Mondello bay offered a spectacular view of the inshore race, a great introduction to 8^th edition of the Palermo – Monte Carlo regatta, starting tomorrow, 18^th August at 13:00 CEST. The Esimit Sailing Team approached their mission very seriously, by convincingly taking line honours and winning also in corrected time in the IRC class. Final preparations for the offshore race are currently running. Skipper of the Esimit Europa 2 yacht, Jochen Schümann, will be hosted at today’s press conference, while the Esimit Sailing Team will be in a good company – players from one of the best Italian soccer teams, U.S. Cittá di Palermo are coming onboard Esimit Europa 2.
